This is a chronological list of the Regiment's commanders with links to their biographies/records (as available). Please note that the best photo available is used and may not depict the individual at the rank held when commanding the Brigade or Regiment. Most Brigade Commanders held the rank of Colonel or Brigadier General while commanding but may be referred to by the highest rank held while serving or at retirement. Commanders of a Regiment were normally Colonels or Lieutenant Colonels at the time of command. Where possible, an official photo is used on the biography page.
